About the position

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving new revenue and creating demand for ASSA ABLOY's VingCard and Elsafe brands within the hospitality segment in a specified region. This role involves maintaining business relationships with regional properties, management, and ownership companies, while maximizing sales opportunities through effective upselling and collaboration with the Strategic Accounts team.

Responsibilities

  • Drive new revenue through sustained business relationships with regional properties, management, and ownership companies.
  • Maximize each hotel customer by presenting the full suite of ASSA ABLOY's products and focus on upselling.
  • Prospect, propose, and close sales to new and existing hospitality customers.
  • Maintain a strong presence in the assigned territory, visiting properties regularly.
  • Provide accurate reports, sales projections, and documentation as requested.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Support Coordinator to ensure market saturation in assigned territories.
  • Document customer interactions in the CRM system.
  • Evaluate existing and potential customers to focus on those with the greatest growth opportunities.
  • Create quarterly and annual action plans based on identified opportunities.
  • Support sales and technical training needs of existing customers and address customer complaints.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in Sales.
  • Successful track record of business development in a regional, multi-state territory.
  • Experience selling technology within the hospitality industry, particularly in the hotel and lodging sector.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a proven track record of building successful client relationships.
  • Understanding of hospitality technology and integrations, preferably related to PMS, mobile, and Cloud solutions.
  • Demonstrable existing relationships and experience working with hotel ownership groups or developers.
  • Must have a clean driving record and be able to travel up to 90% of the time.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong business and technical aptitude.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in technical or hospitality sales is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated track record of managing and growing sales revenues.
