About the position

The Regional Sales Manager at Cometeer will oversee the expansion of Coffee Sampling Stations across luxury shopping malls in California. This role focuses on achieving sales targets, managing a team of sales associates, and ensuring operational excellence at each location. The manager will be responsible for hiring, training, and developing standard operating procedures to enhance customer experiences and drive sales.

Responsibilities

• Set and achieve ambitious sales targets for each activation.
• Train and hire associates and local site supervisors for individual mall activations, helping bring overall sales to quota.
• Supervise multiple coffee sampling stations to create scalable and reliable systems for inventory management, staffing, scheduling, and ensuring excellent customer service.
• Lead by example by working at least 1 shift per week at each kiosk, actively engaging with customers, providing product information, and resolving any issues to create a positive customer experience.
• Ensure that the kiosk runs smoothly and efficiently, optimizing sales and minimizing waste.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue and grow the business.
• Collaborate with the Marketing team to design and implement advertising and promotional campaigns.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience supervising cafe/retail operations.
• Proven track record of driving sales and meeting targets.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, multitask effectively, and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and achieve goals.
• Flexible availability to work weekends, holidays and occasional evenings as needed to ensure the smooth operation of the kiosk.
• ServSafe Food Handling Certification preferred.

Nice-to-haves

• Passion for coffee and a knowledge of specialty coffee is a plus.
