About the position

The Regional Sales Manager at Continental Services is responsible for driving business development and executing outside sales activities to foster sustainable growth within the Great Lakes platform. This role focuses on building strong client relationships and delivering tailored solutions that enhance client satisfaction and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will be self-sufficient, creative, and resilient, with a strong emphasis on achieving sales objectives while providing exceptional service throughout the sales process.

Responsibilities

  • Generate new business through networking, social media, cold calling, and targeting specific competitor clients.
  • Research and identify opportunities within the field to expand client base.
  • Understand account profitability and make informed decisions that impact business.
  • Utilize Continental's sales funnel to maximize opportunities efficiently.
  • Meet or exceed sales objectives while delivering comprehensive service to clients.
  • Maintain strong internal relationships to ensure seamless client transitions post-sale.
  • Document all pertinent client information and relay it to necessary individuals.
  • Facilitate the implementation of services by collaborating with various departments.
  • Ensure compliance with SOP processes and maintain an accurate pipeline via CRM.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and leverage relationships to respond to market demands.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in sales, business marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Five years of sales experience required, preferably in hospitality or foodservice.
  • Equivalent work experience in the refreshments or contract management industry preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic communication.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and sell proactively, gaining trust and accountability.

  • Experience with one of the Top 50 Food Service Management organizations.
  • Strong understanding of client needs and ability to package offerings accordingly.
  • High energy level with resilience and persistence in achieving goals.
