About the position

The Regional Sales Specialist for GE Healthcare is a pivotal role focused on driving sales initiatives and achieving revenue targets within the West US region. This position involves developing customer relationships and enhancing awareness of contrast media delivery systems, which are essential for medical imaging. The specialist will engage in consultative sales, market analysis, and strategic planning to penetrate the market and maintain strong after-sale relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Generating proposals, preparing sales quotations, and planning customer meetings.
  • Demonstrating equipment capabilities of Contrast Media Delivery System products in assigned territory.
  • Creating awareness in radiology and contrast-enhanced imaging modalities through key customer relationships, programs, and events.
  • Developing and executing business strategies to penetrate the market and successfully sell against competition.
  • Maintaining satisfactory after-sale relationships and penetrating competitive accounts.
  • Communicating current market intelligence back to the business, along with field concerns, issues, and requirements.
  • Providing leadership in market analysis and development/execution of strategies and action plans to drive contrast delivery system sales.
  • Prospecting for new customers and business while growing and maintaining the existing customer portfolio.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of successful consultative sales experience including strategic selling and negotiation.
  • Experience in customer-facing, application specialist, or commercial operations roles.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products.
  • Candidate must live in the West Region of the US.
  • Possess a valid motor vehicle license.
  • Willingness to travel at least 50% within the specified geographic region with regular overnight stays.
