About the position

The Regional Sales Support Associate is responsible for providing comprehensive sales support to local leaders and sellers within assigned regional markets. This role requires a high degree of sales system acumen and the ability to work independently while collaborating with team leads and senior management to execute a cohesive support methodology across the region. The associate will act as a primary point of contact for clients and sales leaders, ensuring effective communication and support for various sales tools and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Support sales leaders and approved sellers in the development of sales presentations, including research, demographics, and assembling PowerPoints.
  • Assist with local account management using advanced knowledge of sales tools, including Salesforce - CPQ, payment systems, and more.
  • Act as the first point of client contact for assigned house accounts, managing contract renewals and communicating product offerings.
  • Provide training and support for seller sales tool questions and schedule additional training as needed.
  • Assist with call tracking numbers and digital performance research and analysis.
  • Back up sales leadership with quote approvals and understanding sales promotions and client exceptions.
  • Liaison between regional sales and corporate support for change requests and issue resolution.
  • Manage deadline schedules and product inventory reporting, alerting sales of changes or concerns.
  • Support local Collections and A/R management, including reviewing aging reports and assisting with client communications.
  • Assist with rep offboarding and new rep operational onboarding, as well as ongoing training for Valpak products.
  • Assist with general administration of local markets, including tracking sales contests and commission reviews.
  • Manage orders/shipping for the region through corporate-approved vendors.
  • Complete assigned projects to support regional markets.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of proven success in a sales support role.
  • Experience in print and digital advertising sales preferred.
  • A college degree is preferred but not required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Intermediate-level experience in Microsoft products, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Salesforce CRM experience, with knowledge of CPQ & Case management preferred.
  • Ability to manage deadlines and operate with a sense of urgency.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of Business Intelligence and CRM systems for data monitoring and visualization.
