About the position

The Regional Sales Support Manager at JAS Worldwide plays a crucial role in supporting the sales team and ensuring effective communication between sales, operations, and customers. This position is responsible for managing internal and external quotes, overseeing RFQs, and maintaining high data quality standards. The manager will assist in compiling quotes, training team members, and providing sales analytics to meet organizational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the branch(es) and sales with internal and external quotes.
  • Manage RFQs and other internal or external requests.
  • Ensure the highest level of data quality by performing random audits.
  • Compile quotes in collaboration with sales and department managers.
  • Ensure customer files and profiles contain all necessary documents.
  • Provide sales support to the sales force and customers.
  • Respond to customer requests with quick and accurate information.
  • Develop customer SOPs in coordination with department managers and sales.
  • Act as a liaison between sales, operations, and customers.
  • Work with the sales force and team members to meet sales objectives.
  • Attend customer visits with sales and operations as needed.
  • Create and lead customer rate cards/responses for bids.
  • Provide quote analytics measuring KPIs for defined sales support metrics.
  • Train, mentor, and guide teams on organizational goals.
  • Communicate the vetting and approval process for RFQs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in international transportation (air/ocean).
  • Minimum 2 years experience in international transportation quotes/rate proposals.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office suite.
  • Detail-oriented, able to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Self-motivated, able to work in a team and independently.
  • Knowledge of all customs law, practices, and procedures.

  • Extra languages a plus.
