Regional Security Manager

About the position

The Regional Security Manager (Lieutenant) at Condor Security of America, Inc. is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of security services in the Albuquerque region. This role involves managing a team of Sergeants, Corporals, and officers, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal laws, and implementing security policies and procedures to maintain a safe environment for employees, clients, and vendors. The position requires strong leadership skills, budget management, and the ability to conduct risk assessments and employee training.

Responsibilities

• Monitor day-to-day operations for CSA in accordance with laws and regulations.
• Manage Sergeants and oversee Corporals and officers.
• Implement security policies and procedures to ensure safety.
• Hire and train new employees, and manage employee performance evaluations.
• Conduct risk assessments for current and prospective client sites.
• Manage budgets and monitor employee schedules and staffing levels.
• Complete performance evaluation reports for Sergeants.
• Conduct investigations and gather necessary information in a timely manner.
• Maintain a positive rapport with clients and employees.
• Respond to urgent matters and emergencies on a 24/7 basis.

Requirements

• 5+ years of supervisory/management experience required.
• Possession of a NM state issued Guard Card, Level 3 certification.
• Knowledge of security environments, hazards, and protocols.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Familiarity with MS Office applications and computer technologies.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with all levels of management.

Nice-to-haves

• Prior law enforcement or military experience preferred.
• Possession of a college degree preferred.
