About the position

The Regional Service Manager is responsible for directing and coordinating the activities of field service personnel to ensure the satisfactory performance of Signode power equipment while identifying new business opportunities. This role involves managing a team of field service technicians, overseeing service operations, and ensuring customer satisfaction across a significant number of accounts and machines.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of 10-13 Field Service personnel in the region.
• Oversee service calls and ensure timely completion of service requests.
• Review work orders, billable, warranty, and installation reports for accuracy.
• Approve timecards, expense reports, and annual maintenance agreements.
• Accountable for growth and margin through sales of maintenance agreements and billable services.
• Provide supervision for field service technicians on special application equipment.
• Coordinate training and development of technical skills for the team.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external customers.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, Marketing Managers, and Engineering for continuous improvement.
• Lead and resolve escalated customer issues and educate them on service value.
• Gather and share essential KPIs and quality reports.
• Partner with inventory manager on service van inventory levels.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required; preferred College Degree or Technical School.
• 2+ years in a leadership role, with 5 years in a service position.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc).
