About the position

The Regional Start-Up Sales Manager at the National Addiction Awareness Complex is responsible for leading fundraising efforts to support the establishment of a unique awareness and recovery resort destination. This role involves collaborating with a team to raise $26 million for start-up procurements within a 15-county regional marketing area in southeastern Pennsylvania. The position offers a commission structure with benchmark bonuses and is ideal for candidates with experience in print, newspaper, and radio space sales, as well as fundraising events.

Responsibilities

• Develop new relationships and cultivate existing ones with businesses and individuals to raise funds for the National Addiction Awareness Complex.
• Create and manage a fundraising pipeline to ensure prospective donors are contacted regarding marketing opportunities and fundraising events.
• Work with the marketing team to provide input on marketing needs.
• Stay informed about ongoing fundraising campaigns and sponsorship opportunities.
• Create fundraising pitches that appeal to various target audiences.
• Collaborate directly with the founder to create systems and policies for multi-million dollar fundraising campaigns.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in Sales/Fundraising, managing a sales force.
• A passion for the vision of the National Addiction Awareness Complex.
• Experience with client pipeline management.
• Skills in recruiting and training new Account Developers.
• Must be free of alcohol, drugs, and nicotine.
• Reside within a short commute of the planning office in Denver, PA.
• Possess a car, car insurance, laptop, cell phone, and business casual wardrobe.
• Strong knowledge of community recovery needs.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in addiction recovery or familiarity with recovery processes and terminology.
• Experience working with Customer Relationship Management platforms.
