About the position

The Regional Supervisor for the Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC) is responsible for overseeing and administering staff across a broad geographic area within the Department of Family and Juvenile Services. This role involves implementing central office directives, addressing local office needs, and ensuring that all necessary administrative functions are completed effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and supervise staff in a broad geographic area.
  • Implement central office directives and inform central office of local office needs and problems.
  • Assist in screening and interviewing potential candidates.
  • Supervise and evaluate the work of field personnel.
  • Conduct on-the-job personnel training.
  • Recommend training and needs assessment.
  • Act as a liaison between central staff and local officials.
  • Prepare field visit reports.
  • Monitor workload and recommend staffing adjustments to management.
  • Review and monitor timesheets, travel vouchers, and program statistics.
  • Oversee specific federal grants.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Service Field.
  • 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Associates Degree with 4 years of job-related experience or High School Diploma with 6 years of job-related experience can substitute for education.

Benefits

  • Annual salary range of $41,521.44 - $55,265.30.
  • Employment in the Judicial Branch of the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
