About the position

AMR Logistics Operations is a fast-moving and dynamic environment where flexibility and adaptability are key attributes for success. The Regional Supply Manager will oversee service providers for logistics operations related to inbound/outbound transportation, distribution, and/or post-sales returns. This role requires a customer-focused, process-minded individual who is passionate about excellence. Additionally, candidates must have a laser focus on supporting key tactical and strategic initiatives including Customer Delight, Process Excellence (Precision), Cost Leadership, and Continuous Improvement. The position demands superior business acumen, strong service provider leadership, and innovative process improvement skills. The successful candidate will possess influencing and leadership skills that inspire and facilitate an energetic environment that delivers excellence. Responsibilities include oversight of supplier relationships and performance in support of Americas Logistics and Distribution, identifying areas for process improvement and innovation, investigating problems, finding root causes, and developing solutions. The role also involves prioritizing and multi-tasking effectively to provide strategic and tactical support for projects, including capital planning, monitoring key performance indicators, driving performance, and managing expenses. Furthermore, the Regional Supply Manager will evaluate existing capabilities and establish new systems and processes for tracking, measurement, reporting, and analysis of Logistics Operations, collaborating with stakeholders as a representative of logistics, and providing updates to leadership regarding inventory, distribution, freight, cycle time, and more.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supplier relationship and performance in support of Americas Logistics and Distribution.
• Identify areas for process improvement and innovation; investigate problems, find root causes, and develop solutions.
• Prioritize and multi-task effectively to provide strategic and tactical support for projects, including capital planning.
• Monitor key performance indicators, drive performance, and expense management.
• Evaluate existing capabilities and establish new systems and processes for tracking, measurement, reporting, and analysis of Logistics Ops.
• Collaborate with stakeholders as a representative of logistics, and provide updates to leadership regarding inventory, distribution, freight, cycle time, etc.

Requirements

• Experience in world-class logistics operations with emphasis on vendor, 3PL, or service provider management.
• Proven ability to lead continuous improvement projects and strong track record of customer service.
• Should be systems literate in one or more Warehouse Management Systems, as well as possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in dynamic, cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment while demonstrating strong work ethic and a high degree of flexibility.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Operations, Business, or related field required.
