About the position

The Regional Territory Sales Manager is responsible for managing sales within a designated territory, focusing on the material handling and forklift business. This role involves closing major accounts, building and maintaining client relationships, and providing input on product development. The position offers a base salary with unlimited commission potential, along with various benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Build and develop sales channels
  • Attract and develop interest in products and services
  • Close major sales accounts
  • Set goals to ensure that sales quotas are met by the sales team
  • Manage sales from cradle to grave
  • Participate in product engineering and provide clients input in new product development
  • Other tasks as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering (preferred)
  • Material handling business experience required
  • Minimum of 5 or more years in warehouse sales or forklift sales
  • Superior written and spoken communication abilities
  • Project Management experience
  • Business Development experience

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in territory sales (5 years preferred)
  • Experience in forklift house sales/warehouse optimization sales (5 years preferred)
  • Experience in Material Handling Systems Sale (5 years preferred)
