About the position

The Regional Trade Marketing Manager is a pivotal role focused on aligning marketing strategies with sales objectives to drive brand initiatives within the wine industry. This position requires a deep understanding of the three-tier distribution system and emphasizes project management skills to deliver impactful regional activations. The manager will lead the development and execution of marketing plans, collaborate with sales teams, and oversee budget management to ensure successful brand growth in target markets.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of regional marketing plans for strategic priority brands.
  • Drive incremental sales and revenue growth in target markets.
  • Identify regional marketing opportunities in collaboration with Sales leadership and local sales teams.
  • Ensure regional marketing efforts align with brand strategy and national objectives.
  • Develop and implement creative 360-degree marketing plans to engage consumers and trade partners.
  • Execute marketing programs effectively and cost-controlled to meet local needs.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local sales teams, distributor partners, and key customers.
  • Liaise with the creative team to develop region-specific marketing assets.
  • Partner with various departments to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Present regional marketing plans and performance reports to leadership.
  • Oversee budget recommendations, track expenditures, and assess ROI for initiatives.
  • Analyze and report on the effectiveness of regional marketing programs.

Requirements

  • 4 year degree, preferably in business/marketing
  • Experience with the 3-tier system for wine/spirits distribution
  • 5 or more years of relevant brand, trade or customer marketing experience in the adult beverage industry
  • Strong communication skills to forge relationships across the organization
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and activations simultaneously
  • Attention to detail and proactive problem-solving skills
  • Advanced knowledge of basic PC applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Willingness and ability to travel within the US.
