About the position

System Transport is seeking experienced CDL-A flatbed truck drivers for dedicated regional routes in the western region of America. The role involves transporting essential goods and materials, such as glass and building materials, while offering competitive pay and excellent benefits. Drivers can expect to be on the road for 2-3 weeks at a time, with home time of 2-3 days. This position emphasizes safety and driver support, with a commitment to providing modern, well-maintained trucks equipped with the latest safety technologies.

Responsibilities

• Transport goods and materials using a flatbed truck on dedicated regional routes.
• Ensure safe and timely delivery of cargo to designated locations.
• Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
• Tarp loads as required, which involves lifting a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice during loading and unloading.

Requirements

• Must have a valid Class A CDL.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• A safe driving record on the road is required.
• No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years.
• 6+ months of driving experience required.
• Background check required.
• Clean drug test required.
• Clean Clearinghouse result required.
• Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice.
