About the position

The Regional Director of Operations at Interim HealthCare is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of home healthcare services across multiple locations. This position involves developing and implementing operational strategies, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and leading a team of administrators and clinicians to deliver quality care to patients. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize the delivery of Home Health services across multiple locations.
  • Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) related to patient care, staff productivity, and financial performance.
  • Enforce, maintain, and develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) while seeking innovative ways to enhance processes.
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to office administrators and staff to promote a positive working culture built on excellence and accountability.
  • Assist in auditing documentation and ensure response to Additional Documentation Requests (ADRs).
  • Ensure compliance with processes and help develop and implement new processes.

Requirements

  • Experience in healthcare operations management (at least 10 years), preferably as a Registered Nurse with strong Home Healthcare experience.
  • Experience working with a Medicare Certified Home Health Agency (at least 5 years).
  • Past/Current experience with oversight of a multi-site region.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and quality standards in Home Healthcare.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic planning abilities with a focus on driving operational efficiency and growth.
