About the position

The Regional Vice President (RVP) of Operations at BrightSpring Health Services is responsible for overseeing and managing Home Health operations within a designated region. This role involves direct management of Area Vice Presidents and their operations, ensuring that efficient processes are in place to meet financial and operational objectives. The RVP will work closely with senior leadership to align operational activities with business strategies, manage budgets, analyze data for improvement, and lead a team to achieve operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee Home Health operations for the assigned region, managing Area Vice Presidents and their teams.
  • Plan and execute the company's budgeted revenue goals in collaboration with AVP of Operations and Finance.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Clinical Operations, HR, and Finance to achieve business and financial goals.
  • Ensure operational standards of excellence and quality outcomes in partnership with clinical leadership.
  • Monitor changing business needs and implement actions to address them.
  • Leverage technology to identify underperforming operations and develop corrective action plans.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and company processes among employees.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clinical leaders, healthcare executives, and community partners.
  • Coach AVP of Operations on budget and financial goals.
  • Consult on operational risk factors and contribute to mitigation plans.
  • Participate in the annual budgeting process for the Home Health Division.
  • Hold leaders accountable for achieving budgets and clinical quality goals.
  • Provide leadership, mentoring, and development to direct reports.
  • Report on business, admission, and clinical goals to division President and CEO.
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and train direct reports.
  • Monitor turnover and ensure proper hiring and training of new staff.
  • Collaborate with payer contracting to negotiate contracts.
  • Monitor metrics proactively to effect positive change before month end.
  • Collaborate with business partners to forecast monthly admissions and growth.

Requirements

  • Degree in health administration or related field.
  • Ten or more years of experience with significant P&L responsibility.
  • Multi-site management experience in home health, hospice, or related health programs.
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse or other clinical license preferred.
  • Knowledge of regulations and reimbursements in home health care.
  • Financial operations knowledge.
  • Results-oriented ability.
