About the position

Shaner Hotels is seeking a dynamic, results-driven leader to join our prestigious resorts, full-service luxury hotel management team as the Regional Vice President of Sales and Marketing. This pivotal role will drive revenue growth, elevate brand presence, and set new standards of excellence across our portfolio of above-property resorts. As the Regional Vice President of Sales and Marketing, you will spearhead strategic initiatives to maximize revenue and market share for your assigned portfolio of properties. You will support a talented team of sales and marketing professionals, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives while fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration. The role will require you to work across disciplines with ecommerce, revenue management, and operations, to build a culture to exceed all revenue generating goals and objectives. In this role, you will develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to achieve revenue targets and profitability goals. You will drive direct sales efforts, corporate partnerships, and group bookings to optimize occupancy and Average Daily Rate (ADR). Additionally, you will oversee brand positioning, marketing campaigns, and digital initiatives to enhance visibility and engagement. Collaborating closely with property leadership teams will be essential to ensure seamless execution of sales and marketing plans. You will analyze market trends and the competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation, while establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, industry partners, and community leaders. This position requires a proven track record of success in a senior sales and marketing leadership role within the full-service hospitality industry, along with strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to achieve revenue targets and profitability goals.
  • Drive direct sales efforts, corporate partnerships, and group bookings to optimize occupancy and ADR.
  • Oversee brand positioning, marketing campaigns, and digital initiatives to enhance visibility and engagement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or related field preferred.
  • 5-7 years' experience working with Marriott, Hilton, and independent brand experience and experience in a regional or corporate position.
  • Proven track record of success in a senior sales and marketing leadership role within the full-service hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in leading and motivating high-performing teams.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Must have working knowledge of brand and industry tools and resources.
