About the position

The Regional Vice President of Sales at HHM Hotels is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing a cluster of hotels in the DMV region. This position focuses on driving commercial performance and revenue growth while managing and supporting local sales teams. The role involves collaboration with property and area directors to enhance revenue strategies and ensure adherence to brand standards.

Responsibilities

• Interview, select, train, schedule, coach and support associates to ensure performance aligns with brand standards.
• Work with property-level sales and revenue teams to review revenue forecasts and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Lead, direct, and motivate local sales teams to achieve revenue goals across various hotel services.
• Develop plans and promotions in collaboration with hotel staff, monitoring the return on investment of sales and marketing actions.
• Oversee sales production and performance measurement in collaboration with property General Managers.
• Prepare and manage annual sales and marketing plans and budgets, ensuring effective expense management.
• Ensure execution of Hersha standards, tools, and systems across properties.
• Act as a liaison for property owners, representing their interests positively.
• Adapt strategies to align with market dynamics.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree coursework in business administration, marketing, or communications is a plus.
• Previous experience overseeing sales for multiple properties is preferred.
• Operations experience is preferred.
• Public relations and community marketing experience required.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, Delphi, and access database tools.
