About the position
The Regional Vice President of Operations at Curaleaf is responsible for overseeing all field operations within the Central Region, which includes cultivation, manufacturing, inventory/supply chain, and facilities functions. This leadership role focuses on strategic and tactical initiatives to ensure operational excellence, compliance, and quality across multiple facilities. The position requires a strong emphasis on metrics-based results, team development, and collaboration with senior leadership and support functions to drive business success and innovation in the cannabis industry.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and achieve corporate financial metrics and KPIs at the field level.
- Manage budgets including CAPEX, OPEX, and labor headcounts at the state level.
- Work closely with Senior Leadership on strategic growth and cost initiatives.
- Coach and mentor field leadership teams on tactical initiatives to support business plans.
- Partner with support departments to ensure harmonization across state operations.
- Lead operational expansion and manage cannabis quality and sales planning.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Over 10 years of experience in Operations leadership roles.
- Over 5 years of experience in an FDA controlled, SQF or cGMP certified production environment.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with a focus on results and strategic planning.
- Strong team orientation and relationship-building skills.
- Effective communication skills at all organizational levels.
