About the position

The Regional Vice President of Operations is responsible for overseeing all field operations within the Central Region, including cultivation, manufacturing, inventory/supply chain, and facilities functions. This role focuses on leading state teams to develop and implement effective standards and processes to achieve key metrics related to safety, compliance, quality, delivery, cost, and employee engagement. The position requires strategic and tactical leadership, collaboration with senior leadership, and coordination with support functions to ensure operational success.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and achieve corporate financial metrics and sub-level KPIs at the field level.
• Manage budgets including CAPEX, OPEX, and labor headcounts at the state level.
• Work closely with Senior Leadership on strategic growth and cost initiatives.
• Coach and mentor field leadership teams on tactical initiatives to support business plans and goals.
• Partner with support departments to ensure harmonization across state-level operations.
• Communicate effectively at the executive level and manage operational expansion.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Over 10 years of experience in Operations leadership roles.
• Over 5 years of experience in an FDA controlled, SQF or cGMP certified production environment.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with a focus on results and strategic planning.
• Strong team orientation and relationship-building skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in the cannabis industry.
• Familiarity with sales and operation planning (S&OP).
