About the position

The Regional Vice President (RVP) of Private Wealth Management (PWM) at Fidelity Investments serves as a general manager for a team of Wealth Management Advisors and Planning Consultants. This role focuses on driving engagement with ultra-high-net-worth clients, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and leading a team to achieve business growth and client satisfaction. The RVP is responsible for hiring, training, and coaching staff while collaborating with various internal and external partners to enhance service offerings and client experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Build a regional practice of seasoned advisors and act as a player-coach in client engagement and planning processes.
  • Hire, train, manage performance, coach, and develop PWM staff.
  • Onboard and culturally integrate new PWM associates.
  • Champion diversity & inclusion, associate mobility, and career vitality for PWM associates.
  • Act as a servant leader to empower associates and remove obstacles for client satisfaction.
  • Accountable for overall business results, including household growth and client development.
  • Ensure consistent use of technology and training initiatives within the team.
  • Support the PWM team in improving offerings, products, and processes to enhance client experience.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and perform periodic reviews and audits.
  • Manage relationship and sales practices, including client escalations and audit issues.
  • Develop and maintain business partner relationships and participate in corporate leadership activities.

Requirements

  • Series 7, Series 9/10, and Series 66 licenses required.
  • Bachelor's degree; advanced degree preferred.
  • CFP, CFA, or equivalent recommended.
  • 10+ years of relevant financial services experience with a proven track record in sales management.
  • Deep knowledge in institutional sales, relationship management, and wealth planning.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with high-net-worth clients and complex wealth management issues.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and familiarity with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
