About the position

The Regional Vice President (RVP) is responsible for providing leadership, management, and vision to ensure operational controls, administrative procedures, and personnel systems are effectively implemented across multiple rehabilitation practices. This role supports clinical operations, drives financial strength, and enhances operational efficiency while fostering a positive organizational culture. The RVP is a senior leader within the company, collaborating with the senior management team to align with the company's mission and values.

Responsibilities

  • Assures all residents' needs are met and treatment is well-documented to company standards.
  • Provides in-services and training to facility clinical staff as needed.
  • Functions as a resource for clinical program, caseload development, education & training.
  • Completes Quarterly Documentation Audits for each practice and participates in Cross Region Documentation Audits as requested.
  • Collaborates with QAC, Clinical Strategies, and Denials teams for growth and improvement.
  • Fosters excellence in customer relationships and maintains relationships with key facility leadership.
  • Completes interim and EOM Analysis and facilitates monthly strategic operations reviews with RDs and customers.
  • Addresses customer and employee concerns in a timely manner and communicates issues to Senior Management as needed.
  • Assures the overall clinical, operational, and financial success of each program and region.
  • Visits all assigned facilities regularly and maintains availability to RDs and customers via phone and email.
  • Utilizes therapy management systems to track key metrics and optimize program performance.
  • Participates in marketing activities with existing customers and identifies region growth opportunities.
  • Assures compliance and integrity in all aspects of region and program performance.
  • Works with Recruiting to assure appropriate staffing levels and facilitates student internships.

Requirements

  • Must have a valid Occupational Therapy or Physical Therapy license.
  • Minimum of 5 years of rehabilitation experience.
  • Proven leadership and program development/supervisory experience, including multi-site management experience.
  • Knowledge of state, federal, and therapy practice act legislation/law and accreditation standards.
  • Excellent people skills and ability to partner with a dynamic leadership team.

Nice-to-haves

  • MDS certification (RAC-CT) or other advanced certification preferred.
  • Experience in supervising clinical staff.
