About the position

We are an ABA Therapy Agency seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team providing services to clients in home and school settings. The RBT will work with individuals with developmental disabilities, primarily autism, to implement behavior intervention plans and provide support in various environments.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
• Conduct direct 1:1 therapy sessions with clients
• Collect and record data on client behavior
• Assist in the development and maintenance of client treatment goals
• Collaborate with the treatment team to ensure consistency in implementing treatment plans
• Provide feedback to families on client progress

Requirements

• RBT Certification
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to pass a background check, LIVESCAN, and TB test
• Reliable transportation, Driver's License, and Car Insurance
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to assume and maintain a variety of postures for extended periods of time
• Willingness to work in various environments such as home, schools, centers, and community settings

Nice-to-haves

• 1 Year experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities preferred
• Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
• Ability to conduct patient assessments and implement behavioral therapy techniques
• Familiarity with special education practices
• Strong interpersonal skills for working with clients, families, and colleagues
• Ability to maintain accurate medical documentation
