About the position

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will work directly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, to implement behavior intervention plans and support their daily living skills. This role is essential in promoting positive behavioral changes and enhancing the quality of life for our clients through structured support and care.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living to promote independence and self-sufficiency as necessary.
• Document client progress and maintain accurate medical records in compliance with organizational policies.
• Engage clients in therapeutic activities designed to improve social skills, communication, and adaptive behaviors.
• Collaborate with families and caregivers to provide consistent support and reinforce behavioral strategies at home.
• Maintain confidentiality of client information while adhering to medical terminology standards.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills in behavior management and patient care.

Requirements

• Valid RBT Certification certification.
• Strong understanding of behavior management techniques and strategies.
• Experience working with children, particularly those with developmental disabilities or autism.
• Familiarity with medical documentation practices and maintaining accurate medical records.
• Knowledge of behavioral health principles and patient care best practices.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members.
• Proficient in medical terminology relevant to the field of behavioral health.
