About the position

The Registered Dental Hygienist at Kiene Dental Group is responsible for providing high-quality hygiene, periodontal, and preventive care services to patients. The role emphasizes strong interpersonal and communication skills, aiming to create an excellent patient experience. The office values a friendly and compassionate approach, with a commitment to service excellence for both patients and team members.

Responsibilities

• Providing quality hygiene, periodontal, and preventive care services (Usually about 8 patients a day)
• Completing comprehensive periodontal evaluation and diagnosis
• Completing oral cancer exams
• Anesthetizing patients for restorative procedures
• Providing preventive and restorative patient education
• Assisting front office coordinators with post-op calls, appointment confirmations, and scheduling
• Assisting with general clinic function tasks such as sterilization and equipment maintenance

Requirements

• A few years of experience in active dental hygiene practice (Preferred)
• Kansas Dental Hygiene License (Preferred)
• Experience with Laser Periodontal Therapy (Preferred)
