About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) in Cardiac Rehabilitation at Intermountain Health is responsible for providing comprehensive patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating treatment for patients. Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing is required.
• Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice is required.
• BLS/ACLS certification required upon hire for Cath Lab positions.

Responsibilities

• Assess and address patients' psychological and physical needs.
• Foster quality of care with the best interests of patients and their families in mind.
• Communicate compassionately and effectively with patients and families.
• Assist in developing individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Comply with evaluation, treatment, and documentation guidelines.
• Oversee care delivered by LPNs and/or CNAs.
• Participate in clinical team conferences.
• Follow hospital, regulatory, and professional guidelines, policies, and procedures.
