Responsibilities

• Perform the initial assessment of the patient and caregiver abilities for home health services.
• Establish and periodically review the plan of care.
• Implement medical treatment as ordered and follow up on referrals.
• Evaluate and supervise care provided by other health care providers.
• Document all activities and findings according to organizational policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Conduct home visits as ordered.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved school of professional nursing.
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in Medical/Surgical nursing.
• Current Florida licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• Current BCLS certification.
• Valid Driver's License.

Nice-to-haves

• Two years of Home Health Nursing experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• IV therapy skills.
• Venipuncture skills.
