About The Position
At Emory Healthcare, we are dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to our patients and their families. As a Registered Nurse in the Acute Care division at Emory Decatur Hospital, you will be part of a dynamic team that specializes in caring for patients with a variety of medical conditions, including pneumonia, cirrhosis, and cystic fibrosis. Our unit, which consists of 28 beds, prides itself on delivering holistic care and maintaining a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5-6. We are committed to fostering an environment that encourages professional growth and development, offering ongoing mentorship and leadership programs to help you reach new heights in your nursing career. In this role, you will be responsible for utilizing your clinical expertise to provide safe, effective, and compassionate care to our patients. You will apply the Synergy Model for Care in your practice, personalizing care for each patient and their family while serving as a resource and advocate. Your responsibilities will include effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members, as well as thorough documentation of the nursing process. You will also be expected to incorporate patient and family input into care planning and manage your time effectively to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
