As a Registered Nurse in the Med Surg Oncology unit, you will provide safe and competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. You will be responsible for providing professional leadership and support to the healthcare team, ensuring that the concepts of Patient Centered Care are the foundation of all nursing care. This role involves overseeing and guiding employees under your supervision and demonstrating Service Excellence standards at all times. The position requires a commitment to continuous improvement and a dedication to fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing; BSN preferred.
  • One year full-time or three years part-time experience in an acute care setting preferred.
  • Current RN license in the state of Nevada.
  • Current BLS Certification.
  • Current PALS Certification (for pediatric patients) or current NRP Certification (for neonatal patients) as required by department.
  • Other certification as may be required by facility, specialty, or department.
  • Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility.
