The Registered Nurse - Enterostomal Therapy Nurse (ET RN) position focuses on providing specialized care in wound, ostomy, and continence management. This role involves traveling to various healthcare facilities to deliver consultations and advanced wound care, ensuring patients receive effective treatment for their conditions. The position requires expertise in negative pressure wound therapy, compression wraps, and ostomy care, making it essential for improving patient outcomes in diverse settings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct consultations for wound, ostomy, and continence care.
• Apply negative pressure wound therapy and manage changes as needed.
• Implement compression wrap applications for patients.
• Provide troubleshooting and care for ostomy patients.
• Perform wet to dry dressing applications.
• Consult on advanced wound care recommendations, particularly for moisture-associated skin damage.
• Manage pressure ulcer care and prevention.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Experience in wound care, ostomy care, and continence management.
• Ability to travel within a 65-mile radius of the facility.

Nice-to-haves

• Certification in Enterostomal Therapy (CETN) or Wound, Ostomy, Continence Nursing (WOCN) preferred.
• Previous travel nursing experience.
