Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to a diverse patient population.
• Conduct nursing assessments and assist with exams and treatments.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and discharge processes.
• Collaborate with physicians and interprofessional healthcare teams to ensure quality care.
• Demonstrate clinical competence in administering medications and managing emergencies.
• Assume leadership roles, including charge nurse or preceptor responsibilities.
• Implement staff education specific to patient populations and unit processes.
• Drive improvement in patient satisfaction and departmental scores.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Current RN License in Texas or Compact State License within 60 days.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• At least 1 year of nursing experience in a healthcare environment.
• Strong assessment, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and other Microsoft products.
