Responsibilities

• Sustain a working understanding of regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
• Support leadership in compliance efforts to meet regulatory standards.
• Monitor safety and departmental policies and procedures.
• Integrate the Interprofessional Practice Model in all aspects of practice.
• Implement clinical changes and research-based practices to improve patient care.
• Facilitate learning by assisting with peer and student learning experiences.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team using shared decision-making.
• Collect clinical data and document care delivered and patient outcomes.
• Develop care goals and actions through partnerships with patients and families.
• Advocate for patients and families, assessing personal values and ethical conflicts.

Requirements

• Associate/Diploma prepared RN from an accredited institution with 2+ years of experience.
• Active Ohio RN License; may require other state licensure.
• If hired without a BSN or MSN, must enroll in a BSN or MSN program within 1 year and complete it within 5 years.
• Foreign graduates must have license validated through CGFNS.

Nice-to-haves
