The Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (RN) plays a crucial role in the Radiology Team at Lawrence General Hospital, utilizing critical care experience to manage emergencies during radiological procedures. This per-diem position requires a blend of assessment, communication, teaching, leadership, teamwork, and flexibility to ensure patient safety and care.

Responsibilities

• Handle unexpected emergencies during radiological procedures.
• Utilize critical care experience in patient monitoring and assessment.
• Communicate effectively with the healthcare team and patients.
• Teach and guide patients regarding procedures and care.
• Participate in call rotation as required.

Requirements

• Valid Massachusetts RN licensure.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Current ACLS and BCLS certification.
• Extensive critical care skills and experience.
• Proficiency in intravenous techniques and patient monitoring.

Nice-to-haves

• Prior experience in Interventional Radiology.
