About the position

The Registered Nurse (RN) for Labor and Delivery at GQR Global Markets is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients during labor and delivery. This position requires a skilled nurse who can work both day and night shifts in a Level I Trauma Center, ensuring the safety and well-being of mothers and newborns. The role involves floating to different departments as needed and requires a commitment to patient care and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients during labor and delivery.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and respond to any complications.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Float to pediatric units as needed based on staffing requirements.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Requirements

• Active California RN License
• BLS Certification
• ACLS Certification
• NRP Certification
• Fetal Heart Monitoring Certification
• 3 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing
• Experience in a Level I Trauma Center preferred.

Nice-to-haves

• Travel nursing experience
• Experience with high acuity patients
