About the position

Adecco Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our client's team in Las Vegas, NV 89121. This position is ideal for an experienced nurse who is passionate about providing exceptional patient care, particularly to the senior community. The role offers a Monday-Friday schedule during the day, allowing for a healthy work-life balance while ensuring professional fulfillment. As a Registered Nurse, you will report directly to the Center Manager and play a crucial role in executing clinical workflows with precision and efficiency. Your responsibilities will include conducting daily nursing activities such as patient triage, both over the phone and in-person, as well as providing patient education to ensure high-quality care. In this role, you will collaborate with Providers and the Center Manager to enhance the performance of the clinical operations staff. This includes developing and monitoring performance improvement initiatives and ensuring compliance with national and organizational standards. You will regularly prepare the center for quality audits and address any clinical deficiencies that may arise. Staying updated on state regulations for nursing, medicine, and pharmacy is essential to ensure compliance within the scope of practice for back-office personnel. Additionally, you will oversee clinical quality and patient safety through training and education of staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Responsibilities

  • Follow and execute clinical team workflows with precision and efficiency.
  • Conduct daily nursing activities, including patient triage (both phone and in-person) and patient education, ensuring high-quality care.
  • Work with Providers and the Center Manager to enhance the performance of clinical operations staff, developing and monitoring performance improvement initiatives.
  • Regularly monitor compliance with national and organizational standards, preparing the center for quality audits and addressing any clinical deficiencies.
  • Stay updated on state regulations for nursing, medicine, and pharmacy, ensuring compliance within the scope of practice for back-office personnel.
  • Provide education and resources to patients, families, and staff on clinical conditions and procedures.
  • Oversee clinical quality and patient safety through training and education of staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Ensure adherence to clinical processes, policies, and procedures, maintaining a high standard of care.

Requirements

  • AA/AS degree in Nursing required; BSN or a degree in Healthcare Administration preferred.
  • Active, valid RN license in the state(s) of employment.
  • Minimum of 5 years of current direct nursing or medical work experience.
  • BLS certification for healthcare providers.
  • Extensive knowledge of healthcare functions, including clinical operations, safety processes, reimbursement practices, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement customer service processes that ensure patient satisfaction.
  • Exceptional clinical and patient care skills, with a thorough understanding of healthcare procedures, legal regulations, and best practices.
  • Strong observational, training, and evaluative skills to maintain high standards of clinical care.
  • High emotional intelligence, integrity, and a driven work ethic.
  • Ability to adapt, learn new methods, and demonstrate resilience in a dynamic healthcare environment.
  • Creative problem-solving skills, with the ability to think independently and work effectively.

Nice-to-haves
