Responsibilities

• Delivers safe and appropriate care to patients according to nursing skills inventory and patient needs.
• Coordinates the planning for nursing care delivery with an interdisciplinary team.
• Collaborates with and may delegate tasks to the healthcare team to achieve positive patient outcomes.
• Coordinates treatment plans and develops discharge or transfer plans.
• Participates in ongoing evaluation of programs and process improvements for client-centered outcomes.
• Considers diverse patient needs throughout the continuum of care to optimize patient experience.
• Adheres to all regulatory and Texas Board of Nursing standards.
• Ensures safe care to patients, staff, and visitors, following all policies and procedures.
• Promotes professional growth and development through continuing education and skills competency.
• Models service standards by providing safe, caring, personalized, and efficient experiences.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing; Bachelor's of Nursing preferred.
• Current State of Texas license or temporary/compact license to practice professional nursing.
• Certified in Basic Life Support.
• Experience level: RN I (less than 1 year), RN II (1-3 years), RN III (3-10 years), RN IV (10+ years).
