About The Position
The RN Registered Nurse in the Observation Unit at Henry Ford Health Genesys is responsible for providing a full range of delegated, interdependent, and independent nursing services to patients. This role requires the use of independent professional judgment and analytical skills within the framework of the Seven Dimensions of Patient Care and Benner's Domains of Nursing Practice. The nurse will demonstrate clinical competence, compassion, and a customer service orientation while focusing on process and outcomes. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care, coordinating a multi-disciplinary plan of care, and ensuring patient comfort and education throughout their stay. The position involves collaboration with patients, families, and hospital staff to develop discharge plans and ensure continuity of care.
