About the position

The Registered Nurse at Marion Health is dedicated to providing high-quality, evidence-based care to patients, particularly in the pediatric unit. Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate competent, evidence-based nursing care.
• Conduct patient assessments and develop care plans.
• Implement and evaluate patient care interventions.
• Participate in decision-making and collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Teach and mentor patients and their families regarding care and health management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current Indiana Registered Nurse license.
• CPR certification or must obtain at the next available class upon hire.
• Other advanced life support certifications may be required based on unit specialty.

Nice-to-haves

• BSN degree preferred.
• Pediatric nursing experience preferred.
• Pediatric certification within two years of hire with annual recertification.
