About the position

The Registered Nurse position at CaroMont Health involves providing professional nursing care to a designated group of patients within the hospital setting. The role emphasizes collaboration with medical staff and other healthcare team members to ensure quality patient care, while adhering to established policies and guidelines. The nurse will also supervise and delegate tasks to ancillary personnel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Render professional nursing care to assigned patients.
• Collaborate with medical staff and healthcare team members to provide quality patient care.
• Perform all activities in accordance with approved policies and guidelines.
• Supervise and delegate appropriate duties to ancillary personnel.

Requirements

• Current RN license to practice in NC (NC licensure or multi-state (compact) license).
• BSN preferred; professional nursing certification preferred.
• Recent acute care experience within the past 3 years preferred.
• Meets general hospital and departmental competency requirements.
• Current technical certificates such as BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH Stroke Scale Certification, NRP, STABLE or TNCC as required by specialty area.

Nice-to-haves

• Professional nursing certification preferred.
• BSN preferred.
