About the position

The RN position at INTEGRIS Health Baptist Medical Center involves providing exceptional care in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) during night shifts. The role emphasizes the management and delivery of patient care using the nursing process, with responsibilities that may include floating to other units and participating in on-call status. Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional care to patients in the PICU.
• Manage and deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process.
• Adhere to National Patient Safety Goals based on patient contact level.
• Participate in on-call status as required.
• Float to other units as needed.

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Oklahoma or current multistate license from a Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) member state.
• Current BLS certification upon hire, or completion within 30 days of hire.
• Effective communication skills in English.
• Department specific competencies to be completed during orientation.

Nice-to-haves

• Certified Hospice and Palliative Care Nurse (CHPN) preferred.
• Current ACLS certification for Radiology only.
• PALS certification for Emergency Department within 12 months of hire.
