Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments on all patients upon admission.
• Plan individualized patient care based on identified needs and nursing diagnoses.
• Document patient care accurately and timely.
• Administer medications and treatments safely according to hospital policies.
• Reassess patient conditions and modify care plans as necessary.
• Accept charge responsibilities and assign staff based on patient needs.
• Facilitate staff development and maintain a therapeutic environment.

Requirements

• Valid RN License in the State of Tennessee.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• Experience in surgery preferred.
• Basic arrhythmia certification within 6 months of hire for specific units.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire for specific units.
• Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) certification within 6 months of hire for specific units.

Nice-to-haves

• TNCC certification preferred.
• PALS certification preferred for pediatric units.
• Experience in critical care or emergency settings.
