The RN's primary role is to provide personalized patient care and support the provider's practice by performing clinical duties and assisting in the coordination of patient care. This position is integral to the clinic's efforts, and the RN's communication, conduct, and performance should align with the clinic's goals. The RN will assess and evaluate patient care needs, suggesting solutions to patient care problems and complaints. Additionally, the RN will identify and recommend solutions to departmental problems, assist in assessing departmental function and productivity, and recommend changes as necessary. The RN will also assess patient and family learning needs, coordinating and carrying out a teaching plan to ensure comprehensive care and education for patients and their families.
