Medcor Inc is seeking a Registered Nurse to work on a PRN (as-needed) basis at their occupational health clinic located at Warner Brothers Studios in Burbank, CA. This role is ideal for nurses looking for flexibility in their work schedule, particularly those who can pick up extra shifts during nights and weekends. Responsibilities

• Participate in all aspects of Medcor's daily operations at clients' places of business.
• Perform duties related to workplace incident triage, emergency response, and treatment for employees, contractors, and guests according to Medcor Care Protocols.
• Treat injuries and illnesses according to evidence-based medicine protocols.
• Respond to medical emergencies and administer screening and testing.
• Work closely with the Environmental, Health, and Safety department.
• Provide wellness education and document utilizing an electronic medical record.
• Assist with daily clinic operations including clerical, IT, medical supply management, and medical equipment maintenance.
• Assist with Workers' Compensation claim initiation and OSHA record-keeping.

Requirements

• Valid unrestricted California RN license
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Minimum of 2 years field experience in Occupational Health, Emergency Department, ICU, or applicable experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Familiarity with EMR software
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Positive and outgoing personality
• Willingness to provide excellent customer service

• Experience in treating minor illnesses and injuries
• Experience in major trauma and medical emergency management
