About the position

The Registered Nurse (RN) at AdventHealth is responsible for coordinating the multidisciplinary care team for patients, providing direct patient care, and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities

• Coordinate the efforts of the multidisciplinary care team for patients.
• Provide direct patient care and collaborate with patients, families, peers, and physicians.
• Utilize the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation) to maintain and improve patient outcomes.
• Demonstrate leadership and management skills in patient care.
• Act as a role model for the mission, vision, and values of Shawnee Mission Health.
• Work within the parameters of the Kansas Nurse Practice Act and established policies.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse License
• BCLS obtained through the American Heart Association
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or obtained within 4 years of employment
