About the position

The Registered Nurse (RN) position at Holy Rosary Healthcare's Residential Living Center in Miles City offers a full-time opportunity to provide exceptional care to residents in a supportive and engaging environment. RNs will enjoy self-scheduling for 12-hour shifts, working alongside a dedicated team to ensure the health and happiness of the residents. The role involves coordinating care, educating residents and families, and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations, all while fostering a warm community atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Identify and document resident/family learning needs and provide education based on assessment in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Coordinate or delegate discharge activities, including completing transfer/discharge documents and instructions related to medications and follow-up appointments.
• Document resident/family response to education and care provided.
• Maintain knowledge of CMS regulations and Medicare skilled criteria to ensure compliance in documentation.
• Incorporate resident needs and preferences into organized care delivery and delegate tasks appropriately.
• Supervise, coach, counsel, and evaluate performance of assigned C.N.A. staff.
• Demonstrate knowledge and technical competence in medication preparation and administration per hospital policy.
• Document nursing interventions, residents' responses to care, and outcomes.
• Set priorities for and review daily care plans in collaboration with residents and other healthcare disciplines.
• Communicate effectively and compassionately with residents, families, and physicians.

Requirements

• ASN from an accredited program
• Current Montana RN license
• Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association
• BSN from an accredited program preferred
