Inova Mount Vernon Hospital is seeking a Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN) for the Behavioral Health Unit, specifically for night shifts. Responsibilities

• Provide knowledgeable and caring clinical practice and care coordination.
• Deliver safe and therapeutic care in a holistic/systematic way.
• Integrate knowledge, skills, and experiences to meet the needs of patients and families.
• Conduct patient care in a patient/family centered manner.
• Communicate effectively and work cooperatively with other clinical disciplines.
• Determine processes for delivery of care through direct communication and collaboration with healthcare team members.

Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of Registered Nurse clinical experience in the acute care setting.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing; if holding an Associate's Degree (ADN), must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association.
• RN licensed or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a RN.
• Proficient in English with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a caring demeanor towards others.
• Proficient computer skills.
