In this role, you will be responsible for organizing and providing comprehensive care to patients through a structured process that includes assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. As a team leader, you will delegate aspects of care to other nursing personnel based on their licensure, preparation, and job descriptions, ensuring that each patient receives the appropriate level of care. Your contributions will be vital in meeting the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia, ultimately serving the community in which you live. You will also be expected to comply with the requirements set forth by the Joint Commission and other relevant federal, state, and local regulatory or accrediting agencies. Responsibilities

  • Organize and provide care to patients through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
  • Act as a team leader and delegate care responsibilities to nursing personnel based on their qualifications.

  • Ensure compliance with the requirements of the Joint Commission and other regulatory agencies.

Requirements

  • BSN or ADN degree from an accredited school or college of nursing.
  • Current nursing licensure in state(s) of employment.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within one month of hire.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within one year of hire.
  • Two years of RN experience in a Critical Care Area (ICU, ED, Cath Lab, etc.) or one year of RN experience in an Endo Unit with proven competency in Procedural Sedation.
