About the position

INTEGRIS Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This position involves providing exceptional care to patients in the Pulmonary ICU, working from 7 am to 7 pm. The role includes responsibilities for patient management and care delivery, adhering to national patient safety goals, and may require floating to other units or participating in on-call status. The position offers a sign-on bonus for eligible candidates and emphasizes a commitment to health and wellness for both patients and caregivers.

Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility for the management and delivery of patient care utilizing the nursing process.
• Conduct assessments and re-assessments of patients.
• Develop and implement plans of care for patients.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of patient care interventions.
• Supervise and coordinate care provided by licensed and non-licensed personnel.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to non-licensed personnel and students as appropriate.

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Oklahoma or current multistate license from a Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) member state.
• Current BLS certification upon hire, or completion within 30 days of hire.
• Effective communication skills in English.
• Valid driver's license in the state of employment and proof of current automobile liability insurance.

Nice-to-haves

• Certified Hospice and Palliative Care Nurse (CHPN) preferred.
• Current ACLS certification required for Radiology staff.
• PALS certification must be completed within 12 months of hire for Emergency Department staff.
