About the position

Safe Harbor Homecare, LLC is seeking a Per Diem Registered Nurse (RN) to provide in-home care services to elderly clients in Ocean County, NJ. The role involves assessing and monitoring clients, conducting new admissions and re-assessments, and updating clients' Plans of Care (POC). The RN will also supervise caregivers and provide training on practices and procedures. This position is ideal for someone looking for flexible hours, with the potential to increase hours if desired.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor elderly clients receiving in-home care.
• Conduct new admissions and re-assessments of clients.
• Update clients' Plans of Care (POC) as needed.
• Supervise and orient caregivers to new clients.
• Develop and instruct caregivers on practices, procedures, and equipment.

Requirements

• Current/valid Registered Nurse License with New Jersey Board of Nursing.
• Current Driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Proof of liability insurance.
• Proof of physical examination in the last year.
• Proof of a 2-step PPD or QuantiFERON with negative results.
• Proof of MMR titer or vaccination showing immunity to mumps, measles, and rubeola.
• Willingness to submit to a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
