At Methodist Hospital Westover Hills our nurses set us apart from any other healthcare provider. We are seeking a(an) Registered Nurse RN Maternity Coordinator to join our healthcare family. The Maternity Coordinator is an experienced labor and delivery nurse whose goal is to put expectant mothers at ease. Will initiate a relationship as soon as possible with each patient and provide a tour of the facility. Is available via text, phone, and email to ensure our patients have all the information they need to support an exceptional birth experience. As a patient advocate, will provide important education and enhance patient satisfaction not only throughout the pregnancy but also after returning home with their newborn infant.

Responsibilities

  • Initiate a relationship with each patient as soon as possible.
  • Provide a tour of the facility to expectant mothers.
  • Be available via text, phone, and email for patient inquiries.
  • Provide education and support to enhance patient satisfaction throughout pregnancy and after returning home.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
  • Minimum 3 years of nursing experience.
  • Labor and Delivery experience required.
  • Current RN license in the state of Texas or current multi-state RN compact license.
